Inspired by her acclaimed one-woman show Serbian Women, which featured her mother as its central character, she developed a sitcom around Mama Milka — one of the most beloved and eccentric women audiences have ever encountered. After receiving rave reviews from American, Italian, Indian, Greek, and Serbian audiences, she expanded the concept into a sitcom, developing a colorful cast of characters and a vibrant, authentic world around Mama Milka.
