The Day The Game Stopped

The 10-minute dark comedy The Day the Game Stopped will soon be performed at Theatre West alongside other plays, directed by Laura James.

Based on a true story, the play is set during the 1999 NATO bombing of Yugoslavia. Two sisters, play tennis while their parents struggle to protect their family and maintain a sense of normalcy amid the absurdity of war—until suddenly, the bombs strike.

Two young girls stand on a tennis court as shrapnel fills the sky and the earth beneath their feet trembles.
